| Greater Illinois Title's Commercial/Construction Division to Provide "One-Stop" Shopping November 9, 1998 Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago based title insurance firm, has announced the development of an expanded menu of products and services for customers by providing "One-Stop" shopping capabilities for commercial, industrial, and new construction projects. Gregory M. Kosin, GIT president, made the announcement and said that the expansion of services will assist customers in anticipating problems and resolving them early in the project. The expanded menu of services is in response to the growth of the commercial and industrial market in the Chicago area. Kosin said that GIT now has the ability to accommodate virtually any type of transaction. The menu of services include title insurance for any size project, owner and lender construction escrows, section 1031 tax deferred real estate exchanges through Greater Illinois Tax Deferred Exchange Corporation, new construction services including land development projects, condominium services including declaration compliance review, flood certification services, property valuation services, credit services, REALINFO on-line real estate information services, and full ALTA surveys through Greater Illinois Survey Company. Led by John C. Patti, Vice President and chief underwriter, the Commercial and Construction Division is designed to facilitate a commercial, construction, or industrial transaction to ensure that funding and closing deadlines are met. Kosin says that the expanded level of experience of the GIT team will provide all customers with a special degree of personal, reliable service.
