John M. Biesada joins Greater Illinois Title Co.
John M. Biesada has joined GIT as Underwriting Counsel and was elected an Assistant Vice President.  Mr. Biesada will be based in the Loop headquarters office of GIT at 120 N. LaSalle Street, and will be responsible for underwriting high liability commercial transactions and new construction risks, claims prevention, and training in the areas of underwriting and examining.

Mr. Biesada, with over fifteen years experience in the title industry, comes to GIT from Chicago Title Insurance Company (CTIC) where he was claims counsel.  Prior to CTIC, he served as a District Manager and Advisory Title Officer for Ticor Title Insurance Company.  Mr. Biesada received his B.A. degree from UIC and his J.D. degree from the College of Law at the University of Illinois in Champaign.  He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.  Mr. Biesada will report to John Patti, Vice President and Chief Underwriter.

Pam Frazer promoted to Branch Manager
Pam Frazer has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Milwaukee Avenue office. She will assume her new duties effective November 1. Pam will run the day-to-day operations of the office and be responsible for closings, business development and other escrow functions. Pam will report to Guy Lundstrom.

Kelly Andrasco promoted to Closing Department Manager
Kelly Andrasco has been promoted to Closing Department Manager in the Wheaton office. Her new responsibilities will include supervising the daily operations of the closing department, training, coordinating the closing activities and personnel, and overseeing the expansion of closing capabilities to new geographic areas including Will, Kane and McHenry counties. She will continue to report to Tom Bearman.

Reva Crouse named Regional Account Manager
Reva Crouse has been promoted to Regional Account Manager of Greater Illinois Title's Arlington Heights branch located at 2101 South Arlington Heights Road.

Ms. Crouse joined GIT in 1985 as a real estate closer in the Westchester office, and was promoted to senior closing officer, a position she held for eight years. She has played active roles in many policy making committees as well as participating in quality and compensation research projects. Most recently, she was Branch Manager in Arlington Heights.

John C. Patti named Chief Underwriter; elected Vice President
John C. Patti has been named Chief Underwriter for and elected a Vice President of GIT.  Formerly claims counsel at Chicago Title, Mr. Patti will play an active roll in the Commercial / Construction division and develop new business opportunities through the GITDEC (Greater Illinois' 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange Corporation).

Irene Carey named Senior Vice President
Irene Carey has been promoted to Senior Vice President in charge of Loop Operations. Ms. Carey has been in the title insurance industry for over 20 years. In addition to her operations responsibilities, Ms. Carey will assume duties as the Closing Department Administrator with oversight of Closing Department training, policies and procedures.

Brian J. Mulcahy named Corporate and Claims Counsel
Brian J. Mulcahy has been named Corporate and Claims Counsel for GIT. Mr. Mulcahy received his J.D. from Capital University in Columbus, OH and has been in the title business for over 10 years.  He was formerly Assistant Claims Counsel and Associate General Counsel.

Erin Jenner named Branch Manager
Erin Jenner has been named Branch Manager of the Arlington Heights office. Formerly a Closing Officer, Title Officer and Loop Production Manager, Ms. Jenner has been with GIT for over 12 years. Most recently, Ms. Jenner was a Title Examiner in the firm's Wheaton Office.

Sheri A. Hutchison named Libertyville Branch Manager
Sheri A. Hutchison has been named Branch Manager for the Libertyville office. Formerly a Closing Officer at our North side Chicago Office, Ms. Hutchison has been in the title business for nearly 10 years. She will be responsible for day-to-day operations and business development.
