Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago based title insurance and real estate information services firm, has announced that R. Michael Wood has been named Regional Account Manager and will be based out of the firm's Chicago Loop office at 120 N. La Salle Street. In making the announcement, Guy Lundstrom, senior vice president of GIT, stated, "We are very pleased to have a person of Mike's knowledge and professionalism become part of the sales and marketing team at Greater Illinois Title."

Mr. Wood, a graduate of Indiana state University, has been in the title business for over 10 years and was most recently in the sales department at First American Title before joining GIT. His responsibilities will include being involved in all aspects of commercial and residential title insurance business development with attorneys, developers, builders and lenders in the Chicago Loop and near-by areas. Wood, a resident of Muster Indiana, is an active member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the Home Builders of Greater Chicago, the Executive's Club of Chicago and the Chicago Association of Neighborhood Development.
