Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that Robert L. Dickinson, of Elmhurst, has joined the company as Vice President and Executive Account Manager in the firm's Chicago Loop office located at 120 North LaSalle Street.

Mr. Dickinson, a 14-year veteran of the title insurance industry, graduated from Illinois State University. He was Assistant Vice President in Sales at Chicago Title where he was recognized as a member of the Million Dollar Club for five consecutive years. Most recently, he worked for Solutions On Site, an e-commerce firm providing products and services to homebuilders. He is active in many industry trade groups and currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago. He also sits on its Executive Board and is Chairman of the Programs and Membership Committee.

Mr. Dickinson will be responsible for targeting commercial and construction accounts across the Chicago area including business development with builders, developers, lenders and attorneys.
