Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that Matt Steinkamp of Crystal Lake, has been named branch manager of the firm's Arlington Heights office located at 2101 South Arlington Heights Road and will be responsible for northwest suburban operations for the company.

Mr. Steinkamp began his career with GIT in the closing services department. He was later promoted to closing officer in the Arlington Heights office and in 2001 was promoted to senior closing officer in the agency escrow division. He will continue working on select title and closing functions and handle the day-to-day operations of the office.

The announcement made by Charles K. Papp, Senior Executive Vice President of GIT said that Mr. Steinkamp's ability to handle residential and commercial escrow issues has prepared him to take on the additional administrative responsibilities in the office.

"Matt's expertise in dealing with title and closing issues will assure that customers of GIT will have a experienced person to assist them in getting their deals closed," stated Papp. "He will focus his efforts on all segments of GIT's business and continue the tradition of exceptional customer service at GIT for customers in the area."
