Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that Richard Amidei, of Antioch, has joined GIT as a regional account manager and will be based out of the firm's Lake County office located in Libertyville. He will be responsible for sales, marketing and business development in northern Cook County and Lake County.

Mr. Amidei received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. He comes to GIT with over twenty-three years of experience in the title industry. Beginning in 1979 as an sales representative, his career also included being a part owner of Imperial Land Title Company, a Lake County based title agency. Most recently he was an attorney account manager for First American Title Insurance Company specializing in marketing attorney agency operations to law firms.

In making the announcement, Charles K.
