Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that it has opened a McHenry County operation in Crystal Lake. It is GIT's thirteenth office and is located at 80 North Virginia Street (Route 14) just south of Route 176. The office will provide full-service title insurance and escrow capabilities including residential agency closings, commercial escrow closings, new construction escrow services and builder services for customers in Woodstock, McHenry, Cary, Fox River Grove, Lake In The Hills, Algonquin, Huntley and surrounding areas.

Matt Steinkamp, Vice President and Area Manager, of Cary, will oversee the Mc Henry County Operations of GIT. Mr. Steinkamp has been with GIT for over 8 years . He is also responsible for operations in Arlington Heights and Libertyville. Christine Leracz, Escrow Closing Officer, a resident of Woodstock, will handle residential, commercial and construction escrow services in the new location. A twenty-year veteran of the mortgage business with Draper & Kramer, Ms. Leracz has most recently worked as an Escrow Closing and Construction Escrow Officer in GIT's Chicago Loop office. Lisa Jarvis, Regional Account Manager, of McHenry, will be based in Crystal Lake. She will be responsible for targeting residential, commercial and construction accounts across the area including business development and sales in Crystal Lake and surrounding areas.
