Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced that it has opened a Kane County operation in Geneva. It is GIT's fourteenth office and is located at 10 West State Street (Route 38) just west of the Fox River. The office will provide full-service title insurance and escrow capabilities including residential agency closings, commercial escrow closings, new construction escrow services and builder services for customers in Geneva, St. Charles, West Chicago, Elburn, North Aurora, Batavia and surrounding areas.

Thomas J. Bearman, Sr. Vice President and Area Manager, will oversee the the Kane County Operations of GIT. Mr. Bearman has been with GIT for over 20 years. He is also responsible for Du Page County operations in Wheaton. Connie White, Escrow Closing Officer, a resident of Aurora, will handle residential, commercial and construction escrow services in the new location. Ms. White has most recently worked as an Escrow Closing Officer in GIT's Wheaton office.

In making the announcement, Gregory M. Kosin, President of GIT stated, "The new office builds on the company's plan to extend its full-service capabilities to customers by broadening geographical coverage. We will focus our efforts on growing our business in all market segments across Kane County and the surrounding areas."
