Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago based title insurance and real estate information services provider, has announced a series of personnel changes designed to enhance the delivery of services to customer and branch office operations. Gregory M. Kosin, GIT's president, announced the following promotions:

John M. Biesiada, has been elected a Senior Vice President and named Chief Underwriting Counsel for GIT. Mr. Biesiada will continue to work on commercial, construction and developer underwriting issues. He has also been appointed to the Executive Committee to assist in the review, development and execution of company policy and strategies.

Timothy Meyers, Vice President, has been promoted to the position of Senior Title Officer in the Loop office. Mr. Meyers has been with GIT for over 20 years. He started with GIT as a searcher and title examiner in the Loop office and was promoted to Manager of the Loop Title Department. In 1995, he was elected an officer of the company and named Branch Manager of the Westchester office. In his new role, Mr. Meyers will be assisting John Biesaida in the underwriting area.

Anthony Cichocki, Title Officer, has been named to replace Timothy Meyers as Branch Manager in the Westchester office. Mr. Cichocki has been with GIT for over 14 years. He started as a new order clerk and later worked in the RTS Department. He began working as an examiner trainee in 1995. He later worked as a title searcher and title examiner in the Loop office. In 1998, he was named RTS Department Supervisor. Most recently, he has been working as Title Officer and Title Examiner for customers in the Oak Lawn office.

Dana Santucci, Senior Closing Officer, has been named Office Supervisor of the Oak Park office. Ms. Santucci has been with GIT for over 13 years. She began as a closing services representative in 1993 and was promoted to closing officer and senior closing officer in the Westchester office. Her new responsibilities will include assisting in the maintenance of existing accounts and supervising the day-to-day operations of the Oak Park office location.

Edie Radek has been named Senior Closing Officer in Westchester and will return to GIT on a full-time basis. Ms. Radek has been with GIT for over 20 years. She started with the company in GIT's Loop office in the closing services department and was later promoted to closing officer. In November 1988, she was named an AVP and was promoted to Manager of the Chicago Loop Closing Operations. She also managed a customer closing unit in 1995. Ms Radek will provide technical support and training and will monitor customer service standards in the closing department.

Matt Bochnowski has been named RTS Department Account Manager. Matt has been with GIT for six years. He will continue to act as a liaison with government entities and other customers of the RTS Department. His responsibilities will include communicating with customers to monitor quality and customer service standards.

Brian Voith has been named Gateway Program Coordinator in the Loop office. This newly created position will provide a means to manage streamlined work flow changes in the Title Division. In addition, Mr. Voith will work closely with attorney agent customers in the review and delivery of search documents.
