GREATER ILLINOIS TITLE ANNOUNCES FORMATION OF COMMERCIAL DIVISION; EXTENDS LEASE FOR CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS ON LA SALLE STREET

Greater Illinois Title Company (GIT), a Chicago-based real estate information services provider and Illinois’ largest title insurance agency, has announced that it has formed a new commercial title division. The Commercial Title Services Division (CTS) will allow GIT to streamline commercial title work through a separate business unit and will provide new marketing opportunities for commercial title business development. The CTS Division will be headed up by Kevin Perrizo, Vice President and Commercial Title Officer. Perrizo, a twenty year veteran of the title industry, will be assisted by Jennifer Wright, AVP and Title Counsel, and Patricia Butler, Commercial Title Examiner. The new division will coordinate commercial title clearance, commercial escrow closing matters and commercial underwriting decisions.

In addition, Greater Illinois Title Company announced that it executed a lease extension for its Corporate Headquarters location on the ninth floor of the 120 North LaSalle Street Building. Comprised of 12,800 square feet in the Helmut Jahn designed office tower, the corporate office is located in the heart of the legal, financial and central business district of Chicago.
